FAQ's
Here are some of the questions we get most often. If you have something specific, don't hesitate to reach out-after all, there's no such thing as a silly question!
What kind of "Onboarding" will I receive if I hire The Closing Crew?
When you bring The Closing Brew on board, we start with a thorough intake process designed to understand you and the way you work. We'll dive into your preferences, systems, workflow, client communication style, priorities, and any areas where you'd like extra support. The goal is to create a seamless partnership that enhances your ability to close more transactions, retain more clients, and generate more referrals-all while keeping your process efficient, organized and stress-free.
What does my TC not do?
We don't handle negotiations, pricing advice, legal or tax guidance, or act on your behalf - those decisions stay with you.
What's your turnaround time for document review and sending out emails?
We aim to be as efficient as possible! We do our best to review documents and send communications promptly. That said, if there's ever a sense of urgency around a deadline or specific communication, please don't hesitate to reach out as we always do our best to prioritize urgent needs appropriately.
When do I pay my TC?
We keep it simple. You'll get an invoice via QuickBooks prior to closing or if your brokerage allows, we can include our fee on the HUD so it's taken care of right at closing.
What happens if I get a new listing or under contract after hours or on the weekend?
Any new files, emails, or messages that come in after hours or over the weekend will be reviewed and responded to the following business day.
What brokerage management software do you work with?
We primarily work with agents who utilize Skyslope, Dotloop, Form Simplicity, & Docusign.
Do you work with teams?
Absolutely! We love working with both individual agents and teams. Our flexible approach allow us to easily adapt to your team's systems and personal brand.
Will I be charged a cancellation fee if a contract fails to close?
Unfortunately, not every deal makes it to the finish line. We'll take care of preparing the cancellation and release, getting all signatures, and submitting for escrow return, so everything is wrapped up smoothly. If the same property goes under contract again and is canceled a second time, a $50 wrap-up charge covers the additional processing steps.
How do you protect client information and maintain confidentiality?
We follow strict confidentiality practices and use secure systems for document sharing, in addition to providing our agents with a TC disclosure statement for all agency agreements.
How do you adapt to my preferred style or systems?
While we are not personal assistants, we're flexible and can match your preferred tone and workflow, all while ensuring consistent, high quality service.
Will you communicate directly with my clients, or only through me?
We typically communicate with clients and vendors via email to keep a clear, organized log of all correspondence. When appropriate we CC or BCC you so you're always in the loop. In some cases, a quick phone call is more efficient than email, and we'll handle that as needed to keep the transaction moving smoothly.
Do you offer anything special besides your outstanding service?
While we focus on what we do best - Transaction Coordination - we also understand the importance of maintaining your biggest business asset: your client database. That's why we offer client maintenance and retention services, including updating and verifying contact information, addresses, and other key details to help you stay connected with your clients and maximize referrals.
